London, 31st October 2007: Orange today announced that tomorrow it will be opening a dedicated business store on Oxford Street. It is the first of a planned rollout, with two further stores due to be re-fitted this year.
The store will cater to the specific needs of small business customers. Business advisors have been recruited based on their proven track record in serving small businesses, and have been given further training to ensure they understand the diverse challenges facing organisations.
Business customers can now get advice specific to their communication needs, such as information on the latest business price plans, mobile devices, and demonstration of services such as email on the move. Furthermore, the store offers a dedicated private sign-up area for customers who want more time to discuss their business needs.
Orange offers a range of business plans tailored to suit different ways of doing business. Recognising that every business has business needs that are as unique as they are, the Orange tariffs — Orange Solo, Orange Venture, and Orange Momentum — allow business customers to choose the best value services for their specific business requirements.
The Oxford Street location has been chosen following research conducted last year which showed that the City of Westminster had more VAT registered small businesses (0-9 employees) than anywhere else in the UK.
Sian Doyle, Director of Retail, Orange UK said: ""Research shows that small business customers want advice specific to their needs, from highly-trained, dedicated business staff. We have listened to our customers and, by opening the new store on Oxford Street, we have ensured that they can now get the right type of service for their needs "".
