Orange brings animals to PAYG customers

London, 24th April 2008 — Orange today reveals its new Pay As You Go (PAYG) packages, which sees the Orange Animals extended to PAYG customers. By matching up customers' needs with the new Animal tariffs, Orange is offering PAYG customers a simple choice of great rewards.

There will be four new PAYG packages, Dolphin, Canary, Camel and Racoon which offer customers the best choice and value on the high street. Dolphin is the first mobile package designed for social networkers offering free mobile access to Facebook, Bebo and Myspace which reflects the changing ways people are using their phones. Dolphin also offers unlimited free texts to any network, anytime and is this first PAYG unlimited text offer in the marketplace available through independent retailers.

For those customers who just love to chat, Canary offers free evening and weekend calls to any network and landline. Racoon gives customers our cheapest flat rate of 15p calls to any network, any time. Camel, which is new to the Animal portfolio at Orange, is designed for customers with friends and family abroad, with calls to over 50 countries from as little as 5p per minute. Camel gives customers the best rates to countries where Orange operates such as France, Spain, Poland and Romania.

The new PAYG Animal packages have been introduced following positive feedback from both customers and store managers alike. They also follow the success of Orange's Animal Pay Monthly (PAYM) offering, designed to simplify the process of choosing a mobile phone tariff by building the packages around consumer behaviour.

Available at £149.99, the device is designed so that the Orange World Home page has direct links to Facebook, Myspace and Bebo making it perfect for Dolphin customers who visit these sites regularly.

The new PAYG Animal packages will also be available in-store, online and through independent retailers. The call and text charges are the same across any network, any time.
