SINGER-SONGWRITER JONT BRINGS THE ORANGE UNLIT TOUR TO HOMES ACROSS THE UK

London. 14th August 2008. Singer-songwriter Jont will be taking to the road this summer with his guitar, some songs and his cameraman Dave as they embark on a 4-week UK-wide tour of people's homes with the Orange Unlit tour.

The Orange Unlit tour is a series of unique gigs which take place in people's homes, with local bands and music-lovers getting together to create an intimate live experience. From 15th August — 15th September, Jont is inviting people to put forward their homes or their bands for an Unlit session via the website www.i-am-everyone.co.uk/orangeunlit. From swanky Victorian villas, remote coastal cottages to cramped student flats, all homes put forward are considered so long as they can host their friends and 2-3 unplugged bands.

Armed with a camcorder and an Orange powered laptop and phone, Jont and Dave will be documenting their tour via the website www.i-am-everyone.co.uk/orangeunlit with a daily blog, interactive tour map, videos, photos and Twitter updates as they travel across the country on their tour bus. Last FM will feature online playlists based on the music Jont will listen to on the bus. Jont and Dave will in turn be relying on the public to submit recommendations to keep them entertained, suggest local landmarks or places of interest to check out, and more importantly, invite them to stop by for a nice cup of tea.
