Orange offers free BlackBerry Internet Service to business customers

Orange is taking a major step to help its business customers in these challenging economic times.

Customers who sign up to the BlackBerry® Internet Service (BIS) in February or March this year will receive the service completely free for the life of their mobile voice contract on select Orange business tariffs. Available to new and existing customers, the offer is available on all Blackberry devices and will make it much easier and cost-effective for customers to stay in touch when on the move.

“We recognise the continuing tough times ahead for all our customers and the fact that mobile technology is actually no longer a luxury for many businesses but a necessity. With that in mind, this offer is designed to give our customers a bit of a financial break and help them stay in touch while alleviating the need of worrying about their bill for a little while,” commented, Martin Lyne, Director of small and medium business, Orange UK.

BlackBerry Internet Service is an easy, cost-effective way for customers to keep in touch with their business matters through the use of mobile-email and web browsing. The extremely popular service for both business and personal use means that access to data and people is available whenever the user wishes.

From the 2nd February customers can take up the offer with Business Solo, Business Infinity or a £35+ Consumer talkplan, subject to a 12 month contract. On April 1st the service will revert to its normal monthly charge of £4.25 ex VAT.
