Orange UK today announces the appointment of Ian Smith as the new Head of Brand Communications. Spencer McHugh, Brand Director for Orange UK said: “Ian has been instrumental in the success of media, advertising, sponsorship and partnership programmes for Orange UK and brings with him a wealth of brand and communications experience and expertise. I look forward to working closely with Ian in his new role to continue to strengthen our brand which when used in the right way, is our most powerful and inspiring asset.”

Ian will be replaced in his role of Head of Brand and Sponsorship Partnerships by Hattie Magee when she returns from maternity leave on 20th July 2009.
